I have invested my entire professional life, and in particular a great deal of my heart and soul, in the company Deleproject. It is precisely for this reason that I am pleased to announce that I can place Deleproject in the hands of a strong company and thus secure its long-term future.

Deleproject AG will operate as an independent subsidiary of the Rychiger Group with headquarters in Steffisburg/Thun from 1 July 2022.

As the most important success factor for the future, Deleproject and the entire team will continue to exist unchanged and will continue to provide the usual reliable range of services. The management with Marcel Oester (CEO) and Adrian Straubhaar (COO) will continue to lead and develop the company – as they have done for the past two years – with prudence and great intuition. All employees will remain on board, the company name Deleproject AG will be retained, as will the company headquarters in Uetendorf/Thun. This guarantees that nothing will change for you and that your proven contacts will remain.

With its almost 500 employees and more than 100 years of tradition, the Rychiger Group is one of the world’s leading suppliers of customer-specific high-tech solutions in the packaging sector. It offers a comprehensive range of machines, services and support. The potential for data integration in the industrial market environment is high. With its specialists in automation and digitalisation technology, Deleproject will contribute to the increasing market demand.

Rychiger is a company that understands and lives Deleproject’s core values in a holistic way. Both organisations will mutually benefit from additional resources, use synergies and have access to a large pool of technical expertise. This will strengthen the positions of both companies, both in the Swiss market and internationally. The takeover of Deleproject by Rychiger is also a sympathetic regional solution, as both companies have been rooted in the Thun region since their inception and are owner-managed.

I am very pleased that we have found an excellent and future-oriented succession solution for the successful further development of the company. Both the management and the entire Deleproject team enjoy my fullest confidence with their professional and customer-oriented thinking and actions.

I will remain associated with Deleproject as an ambassador, advisor and member of the Board of Directors of Deleproject AG. Knowing that the company is in good hands fills me with great joy and I am convinced that this step will continue to positively shape the development of the company.
