With his dissertation, “Model Predictive Control for a UHT-Process Plant”, Adrian Kamer wins the regional Siemens Excellence Award. The award honors outstanding degree theses in order to motivate junior engineers to carry out scientific examinations on practice relevant subjects.

This year’s Sindex lured over 13,000 visitors to Bern between the 6th-8th September 2016. We also look back on three successful exhibition days and thank the many who visited our stand.
On the second day of the exhibition, the best engineer in Switzerland was searched for as part of the competition Grand Prix Automation Engineer of the Year 2016.
We are very pleased that Adrian Kamer received first place and that Björn Krebser received second place – congratulations!
From the 6th-8th of September 2016, the leading suppliers from the fields of automation, robotics and fluid and electrical engineering will meet at the SINDEX in Bern. Around 400 exhibitors will be presenting new technologies and current trends – around 14,000 visitors are expected. The third execution of SINDEX will revolve heavily around industry 4.0.
