Team Event 2013
In 2013, the traditional team event of Deleproject took place from 23 to 24 December. This year as in this past, the organisation committee gave as little information as possible before the outing. Finally, the Thun train set off in the direction of Spiez. Later, as we drove on into the tunnel in Frutigen, it became clear that our destination was the Valais region. In Visp, switched from the train to the bus. With the arrival in Saas-Fee, we had reached our destination.
With beautiful weather, the programme began with a visit to the ice pavilions and lunch at the revolving restaurant at Allalin station, the cultural part of our outing. The view of the many four-thousanders was truly breathtaking.
As usual, there was a sporting excursion in addition to the cultural activities. For this purpose, we took the metro and the gondola from altitude of 3,500 meters back to Saas-Fee at 1,800m. At the bus terminal, two mountain guides awaited us to take us up the Gorge Alpine ferrata, which made for a good dose of adrenaline.
After checking into our hotel and enjoying a small appetizer, we tucked into a sumptuous dinner in the Waldhüs Bodmen forest restaurant. With a trip to the Saas-Fee our trip finally reached its conclusion.
